Screenprinting + Public Health
Screenprinting is a medium with a distinctive history that centers art as a tool for activism. In the public health course, Immigration as a Social and Structural Determinant of Health, students worked with guest speakers and community partners to create screenprints representative of the immigration related organization/topic.
In addition to the project showcase, a public screenprinting workshop at Best End Brewing on the Atlanta BeltLine invited community members to make their own prints of the student-created designs.
